Branson Bulletin: Chateau on the Lake Resort & Spa

If you are looking for a fall getaway that provides an absolutely beautiful setting, you should consider visiting the AAA Four-Diamond Chateau on the Lake Resort & Spa in Missouri’s picturesque Ozark Mountains. Known for its breathtaking lakefront setting, the resort is also just minutes from the many attractions and shows of Branson. Featuring dozens of theaters, Branson offers more than 100 live shows, which include fun tribute concerts, magic shows, comedy routines, acrobatic shows, and dinner shows. With all that it has to offer, it is easy to see why Chateau on the Lake Resort & Spa was recently named the “#1 Best Missouri Resort” and the “#1 Best Branson Hotel or Resort” by U.S. News & World Report in its prestigious “2019 Best Hotels” rankings for the second year in a row.

Enjoy the new fall lineup of great entertainment through October 31 with tributes to The Temptations, Marilyn Monroe, The Blues Brothers™ and Elvis Presley on stage at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater. The Temptations are back, known for their distinct harmonies, choreography, and wardrobe, “The Emperors of Soul” are always a crowd favorite. She was born Norma Jean Mortenson, but you know her as Marilyn Monroe. “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend” and “I Wanna Be Loved By You” are a few of the songs performed by this American icon. “Shake Your Tail Feather” with The Blues Brothers™! Jake and Elwood are sure to get “Everybody” laughing and dancing in their seats. And a tribute to Elvis Presley will highlight both the opening and closing act, showcasing two eras of “The King of Rock & Roll” from the ’60s & ’70s.

Building a bigger Branson Fall with a family-oriented flair, Silver Dollar City is going full glow with more than 10,000 pumpkins lighting up the 1880s theme park well into the evening through October 26. The new Harvest Festival, CRAFT DAYS & PUMPKIN NIGHTS, presented by Humana, transforms Silver Dollar City into acres of towering carved sculptures and artisan-created masterpieces in the City’s biggest Fall in a nearly 6-decade history.  Guests will see giant scarecrows, cats, owls, totem poles; even a nearly 3-story Pumpkin Greeter. First-ever extended Fall hours (9:00 pm weekdays/10:00 pm on weekends) include a glow-in-the-dark black light dance party and specially-created pumpkin foods. The rides will also soar into the evening, allowing for breathtaking views of a park aglow below.
