Christmas At The Mansion

The Mansion Theatre is the place to see some of the top entertainment acts and concerts in Branson. They were voted “Best Concert Venue” for the second year in The Best of Branson contest.

Kristy Adams, Director of Sales and Marketing, was excited to discover The Mansion Theatre again nabbed top honors for the second time. The Best of Branson contest was introduced last year. More than 113,000 votes were cast for the top honors of Branson’s best shows, attractions, dining and accommodations. Participation was nearly four times the prior year and votes came in from all fifty states.

The Mansion Theatre is unique among the other theatres in Branson. Not only are they the largest, but they also have community events and festivals on the schedule throughout the year making it a true down-home destination. Adams explained, “we are a premier entertainment venue and we operate January through December. We are sort of like a convention center on steroids because we have the theatre aspect.”

“The Mansion has focused over the last few years only on concerts,” she said of the 3,000-seat state-of-the-art theatre. “We operate like a roadhouse. We can switch out shows nightly if we need to. That makes us really skilled at bringing in national touring shows. It also reminds people in the industry that Branson may be a small Ozarks town, but we can handle major shows.”

Many of the entertainment industry’s top touring acts make The Mansion Theatre a regular stop, including The Oak Ridge Boys, Neal McCoy, Dailey & Vincent, Gene Watson, The Bellamy Brothers, Ronnie Milsap, Johnny Mathis and The Gatlin Brothers.
Another great show is Country’s Family Reunion, hosted by Larry Black and Bill Anderson. The stage becomes a “living room” where classics come alive and country legend guests tell stories from the past.

During the Christmas season, The Oak Ridge Boys will entertain crowds with their Down Home Christmas tour show performing songs from their seven Christmas albums. Johnny Mathis Christmas is also scheduled for The Mansion Theatre where guests can hear some of the holiday favorites from his 63 years as a recording artist. Dailey & Vincent will bring their signature sound for the Joys of Christmas also in December at The Mansion Theatre.

“We are really Honored to have been voted Best Concert Venue for the second year in a row,” Adams said. “It’s important for us to not only be the BEST for our customers, but to the BEST for our entertainers.  So when they go back out there in the big world, they are telling other entertainers that they had a top notch experience performing in our town.”
