Showboat Branson Belle kicks off 2018 with new show

Nick Guevel gets excited when he talks about the new show onboard Showboat Branson Belle.

“The talent in the new show is incredible,” he said. “We were able to find an all-star line up of performers.”

Nick oversees operations on the Showboat. He knows the high energy show will wow guests of all ages with musical production numbers and a new dance troupe.

“We wanted a multi-generational experience,” he explained.  “We’ve created a musical show where parents, grandparents and kids can enjoy something together. That’s when the magic happens.”

Showboat’s cast performs a wide variety of musical numbers sure to keep the audience singing along.

“We have great songs from some of our favorite movies,” Nick said. “We combined unbelievable talent with the right music. It’s great entertainment.”

The show includes the hits of Elvis and classic ‘70s rock from the Eagles, Journey and Fleetwood Mac.

“We looked for important moments in pop culture,” he said.  “And, we found music that is timeless. While Elvis and Journey and some of those great bands’ hits were huge years ago, you still hear them on the radio today and kids are still loving their music.”

Known for its show stopping musical performances, this season brings something new to the Showboat stage.

“We have our Deckhands Dance Troupe,” he said. “They use materials from the boat to create rhythm in a STOMP like performance. It definitely is a variety show.”

While the show and three-course meal are impressive, it’s always Table Rock Lake that steals the show.

“Table Rock is one of the quintessential things people want to see,” Nick noted. “We believe Showboat Branson Belle is the best way to see a great show, have a great meal and get to enjoy the lake.”
