It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Christmastime in Branson. And what I love most is that it all starts in November! The special shows, restaurant offerings, new places to shop and now in our second year … the places voted BEST by folks from each of the 50 states!
The Best of Branson is a true nationwide reader’s choice about our great destination city. Over the Summer, we asked for visitors and locals to voice their opinion in six main categories: Attractions, Eat & Drink, Entertainment, Shopping, Stay In Branson and Things To Do. In this special edition, we are awarding 125 individual companies and entertainers with 146 Gold and Silver winners. This year we added some great new subcategories in Entertainment along with the other categories.
Of course, we feel that anytime you visit Branson you will experience the BEST! The incredible singers, dancers, musicians, comedians and actors who take the stage daily make a powerful connection with their audiences; sometimes forming bonds that last generations. To many visitors, those familiar faces they see onstage from year to year are more like family.
There is so much to see and do during Christmastime in Branson. Johnny Mathis, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Lennon Sisters, The Texas Tenors, Hughes Brothers, The Duttons, Daniel O’Donnell and the Brett Family all have Christmas Shows. Most of the shows have a Christmas segment to share. Of course, a fun filled day and magical night awaits you as Silver Dollar City becomes our own Christmas city, with millions of colorful lights, parades and holiday treats. No place like Branson celebrates the birth of Jesus through music, song and holiday gatherings.
If this is your first Christmastime or a long-standing family tradition, we encourage you to explore our winners. Engage with them. You can search for the winners by clicking here. And when you visit this Christmas, be sure to pick up our comprehensive Christmas edition (pictured above).
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
